After 30 years in this “Business” we call “Show”, Ronnie Sperling is thrilled to welcome you to the… The Ronnie Sperling Website Ronnie
has gone on to become a familiar face on Stage and Screen. Most of all,
he is proud to make a living being a working actor. He’s co-starred
opposite Motion Picture Legends, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in Billy
Wilder’s final film “Buddy, Buddy”;
with Brad Pitt in “Cutting Class”; and
Brad Garrett in “The Postal Worker”. On
Television, Ronnie is currently seen in his recurring role of Chancy
on “Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101”. He will
soon be seen in Movie Theatres as the Dad of the Flix family in “Disney’s
The Flix” and stars as The Mad Hatter on “Disney’s
Alice in Wonderland Masterpiece Edition DVD”. His mug
is often remembered for his numerous commercials include: Capitol
One with David Spade (2 of them), Sony PlayStation,
Washington Mutual, The Disney Channel,
Holiday Inn, U.S.P.S., Nintendo,
Ball Park Franks, and McDonalds to
name just a few. On Stages across the country he’s starred in
such shows as: Melvin P. Thorpe in “The Best Little Whorehouse
in Texas” (with Susan Anton), Sir Gerald Bolingbroke
in “Me and My Girl”, Mr. Applegate in “Damn
Yankees”, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh in “Anything
Goes”, The Diction Teacher “Singin’
in the Rain”, Bud Frump in “How To Succeed
in Business Without Trying”, Motel in “Fiddler
in the Roof”, Eugene in “Grease”,
Joe in “Working”, and a dramatic turn as
Mr. Franklin in “Children of a Lesser God”.
Ronnie was co-creator of “The Cardigan Christmas Show”
(directed by Don Petrie) a huge critical hit with Los Angeles audiences,
which became a cult fave for several years running. For the last year
and a half Ronnie has been found getting laughs as the Troll in the
unique theatre experience, “A Faery Hunt”.
Recently he was part of a Broadway Workshop of Disney’s new “Cinderella
II” Musical. Known for his Comedy Improv, Ronnie developed,
“The Bright Side” which specializes in
Improv for corporate events. Portraying a pantheon of memorable characters,
Ronnie chalked up over 10,000 performances at Disneyland
and Universal Studios. And as part of the Dial M Company,
Ronnie has chalked up 12 years of his crazy Rev. J. J. Johnson character
in “Frankie and Mia Tie the Knot”. His
crowning achievement though, is his loving family: Son…Cameron,
Daughter…Sarah, and Incredible wife…Romy. A footnote …Ronnie
was one of the original staff writers on the very popular “Mighty
Morphin’ Power Rangers”.
